How do you open this up?

One of the most asked question when Zumbo was on display at the Pumpkin Patch & Harvest Fest was “what does he eat?” He does snack on the dry food that is out all day for the other cats ( yes – he lives with six other domestic cats!). However, his main meal is at night right before we have our supper. He will eat between 1/2 to 3/4 pounds of raw meat coated with a custom formulated vitamin and calcium powder.

Stokoe Farms Serval upgrades to DTV

Since we have no cable or dish access, we had to upgrade our television. Zumbo thought this was the best present we have given him in a long time. Just like a child, the box entertained him and us for many hours! Zumbo’s constant companion Pee Wee is content to just watch and wonder what was so fun.

Click on the link below to see Zumbo enjoying a taste of a Jarrahdale. This is actually an Australian winter squash. Its deep ribbing and blue-gray color make it great for fall decoration. The hard shells makes it keep well through out the long winter. While Zumbo likes his squash raw, we cut it up into wedges and bake it in the oven then add a dab of butter, salt and pepper. A healthy and tasty winter dish.

Just like with children, sometimes the best part of the present is the box! Zumbo loves to hide in it and of  course – chew it up. Peter is amused but wonders when it will be warm enough for a stroll outside.

Our Fall and Christmas tree customers might not recognize him but this is Peter! As you see he relaxes a lot when he is not entertaining the customers.
